Me working

I create illustrations in volume, in three dimensions, tangible illustrations. They are made with paper, clay, paint, wood, sand, sugar,… anything that can help tell the story I have in mind.
I create miniature character, clothes, set, and arrange it all with lighting to create the scene.
When everything is in place I take a picture, which creates the illustration.
These tangible illustrations are very different from 2D illustrations. They have real textures, light and depth that are unique to photography.

Making of

There is so much that can be expressed with just an image.
My illustrations are telling stories. They are also showing you craftsmanship, hand made look and feel that also tells its own story.

Today I mostly use tangible illustrations for post cards an posters.
