Sculpture
Bringing sketches into the real world, each sculpture transforms lines into form and emotion. My goal is to capture that spark of personality in clay.
Maquette sculptures have many use, they can either be part of the visual development for an animated film, collectible figurines, miniatures parts, or I also use this technique to create my tangible illustrations.
Whether I start from a designer’s drawing or one of my own, I love translating 2D ideas into expressive, tangible forms.
The ability to freeze time, to give volume to a drawing, to show movement, personality, emotions, with just a piece of clay is magical!
