First it starts with a little spark, an idea comes in my head, a story I would like to share, a feeling, an emotion.
Then I recreated this idea in volume.
In this case, it was made of 2 characters that I sculpted in polymer clay, painted in acrylic, and a miniature set made with a lot of paper petals!
Each detail is meticulously hand made.
Once everything is ready, I arrange it all with lighting to create the scene and take a picture.
Well I actually take many pictures and take a lot of time to chose the best one.
These tangible illustrations are very different from 2D illustrations. They have real textures, light and depth that are unique to photography.
