My tangible illustrations sometimes start with an idea, and a teaspoon of sugar.

I wanted to create an illustration that tells a story about sharing and kindness for my greetings card. So these two characters came to mind.

As my illustrations aren’t drawn, they’re built, I used whatever material and technique I could find to recreate this magical moment I saw in my mind.

In this case it was polymer clay, branches and … sugar of course!
